@serenity.link celebrated 1 year of throwing the sickest late nite early morning link-ups last saturday & what’s a anniversary without a photographer? I was invited via DM to document the event thru my vision + polaroids.
don't know what it is about the alleys in LA
but i'm constantly finding my type of people there. met so many supporters, new friends, even people i've been wanting to meet outside of the internet for years. all here absorbing the music, lights, drugs and mixed drinks.
before heading out to the alley, i pregamed with my close friend, geo, we both were on our way somewhere for the nite so meeting up to chug some beers. smoke a blunt then went our separate ways was cute. after a quick haircut & shower, i headed to the stu to pick up some film packs left there after my second solo art show Perfectly. where i took polaroid portraits for $3.
you know the nite is gonna be fucking wild when a drunken homeless man randomly attacks your uber at a red light on your way to the function. my driver keep driving btw. most calm man i ever met. anyways ....
pulled up.
smoked a cig.
fixed my outfit. + checked in.
besides the dj sets, music and performances that are scheduled by the flyer you'll also find the flyest dressed people, local artists and the internet's best.
this time around i had my polaroid 600 loaded.

which was hands down one of the best sets, i've seen to date.
the mix went from her iconic personal sound she's been curating for years to a brazillian wave to honor her tour, to the most gully-underground-uk vibe and hitting every point in between.

+ looking back on the years that made me .... ARN. i've always had a blog, it was either myspace bulletins or one of the three virtually successful blogger sites. that i designed while in middle and high school. the biggest one being a collaborative blog with the two closest people to me in the world, my older sister ( Brandi aka QB ) + my fellow lamb ( Lauren ). but I personally haven't written anything in over seven years ? its just very nostalgic at this point to just write this out. i would love to be consistent again making post and writing things out virtually at this moment in my life.
+ this blog A R C H I V E will be combo of thoughts and visuals.
a virtual house designed to look like my desktop, where everything I do creatively lives from life to art and all the bullshit in between.
+ Happy to be where I am honestly, newly single, approaching my 27th bday and releasing this website and brand, that's been in the making for 8 years. 2022 is starting off really light airy and i feel good. this year will also brings new projects i can release now having the site active. Im really excited :)
[ March 09 2022 UPDATE: i just lost my dad. soooo... theres that too. ]
